Reviews on the New Sea Eagle 285

Subaru Robin 9.0 HP Gas Engine with 4You can find several Sea Eagle 285 reviews on the internet. Most of these reviews say the same thing: it is a portable and lightweight inflatable boat suitable for use on any flat water from remote ponds, lakes, rivers, and inland bays. It is built for stability and rugged durability.

The good thing about the Sea Eagle 285 is that it is designed for portability and easy assembly so you can get into the water quickly. The optional motor mount accepts an electric motor reaching up to 3 HP gas engine for easy motoring.

The optional swivel seat allows the fisherman to sit even higher and turn 360 degrees. The wooden floorboard provides the fisherman with a platform to stand up and cast.

This one man fishing boat is practical in almost any kind of fishing. Designed specifically for fishing, the 285 FPB is equipped with two built-in rod holders. It also has an aluminum step bench/footrest for support and a clip-on stow pouch to keep you organized.

It Must Be So Sad

I’ve always wanted to see the inside of the big metal aircraft hangar out in the desert where they send all the old airplanes to die. I know the reason that place is there, in case they ever need a spare part for some old beater of a war plane — not that they don’t design a new one every few months or so, but still. How awesome would it be to walk among the bones of aviation history, to know that these are not the pristine mummified relics sitting in the halls of the Smithsonian, but to know that these planes served, and were found wanting in the face of progress. Left to rust, they are that which is left over. I’ve always been sad for machines in museums, they are no longer of use, no longer doing that for which they were made. It must be so sad.
